was just talking to a colleague, i didn't know that if you quit your company has to pay out all your remaining annual leave.

he also told me some of the employees here have 6 months worth of accrued annual leave.

and the company is getting worried that everyone will take it all off at the same time so half our staff will be missing.

yeah you have what is called long service leave, so if you work there like 10 years you get like 1 month added to your annual leave
